Caught in the Net

Well, this is an interesting post for today....

As some of you may already know, I am the Stage Manager for the play 'Caught in the Net', being put on by The Caledon Town Players. Both my sister, Jennefer, and our friend Dale are in the play and you can read their Blogs for more posts also about the play.

In the play, Jen plays Mary and Dales plays the part of Staney, which they both do so so well. Their parts are starting to really come together, even though we have only started to block the second act today.

Well, for the past 2 weeks or so, I have been reading the part of Gavin during rehearsals, as we had not been able to find someone to play the part. Gavin is a sixteen old boy, and well....we have had a hard time finding a 'Gavin'. I have started to REALLY enjoy reading the part, and well......... I had even started to 'ACT', when I was reading the part. I guess I started to think I could ACT....and everyone is saying how good of a job I was doing...

So what's the problem you ask??? WELL.....Today we found our Gavin and he came to practice....so now I'm back to just being the Stage Manager. That sounds funny....JUST the Stage Manager....but the real funny thing was that I was disappointed when our Gavin showed up. I was really having fun playing that part.....And what a 45 year old bald, overweight guy with a grey goat CAN'T play a 16 year old....oh please....I CAN ACT!!!!!

I really think I will try out for the next play, everyone says that I should, and that I would do a good job.

So that's it for today.....The play is on track, We also now have a great young man, Andrew, doing sound for the play, and I think he will do a great job....He's already got all the required sound clips gathered and burnt to a CD, so that's one less task I have to worry about as the Stage Manager.

So thats it for today.....All in all a great day a rehersals....And now I can concentrate on being the Stage Manager.....lolololol

My Blogging Rant

Ok, Today I am a bit frustrated with my blog website, ok I'm a LOT frustrated. Last night I spent quite a bit of time working on my site, trying to make it look cool. Afterall, I'm all for the COOL LOOK AND FEEL.....That's me....lol

Well, I did all this work, and then I went to save the template and BANG, explorer can't find the next page, I get the WHITE SCREEN OF DEATH, and when I tried to do a REFRESH, it finally came back to the template screen, but I lost all my changes.....

grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

So then I tried to write a post.....just like I'm doing now, yes my fingers are crossed.

I thought I did a pretty good job, writing about a couple of issues, then I go to post......

and WHAT do you think happened?????

WSD.....and I LOST it AGAIN!!!

Are there some FRIENDLY tips that I should now about?????

And then this morning when I was at Christine's place, I wanted to show here my Blog site, so we access the site and she wanted to add a comment to one of my posts and guess what....

My posts comments don't work now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nothing Much About Nothing

I'm sitting here this morning, at home, waiting to get some blood work done.....I SHOULD have NOT eaten after 8 pm last night.....But you know me, or maybe you don't yet, but I did. I started to eat at about 11pm watching TV, guess I was bored and didn't want to go to bed.


So I now I have to fast for 12-14 hours before my blood work. Why is it called a fast....the time goes SOOO slowly when you don't eat. Yes, I LOVE my food.... That gives me an idea for another post!!

So why is it at times you just want to sit and do absolutely nothing.....

Take last night, I had ALL these plans....clean my spare bedroom....Bedroom??? Its the Computer Room and DUMPING ROOM....Did I do it....NOOOOO....I sat and watched TV....Why is that???

I hope this new hobby I'm picking up....Yes the Blogging...will help get me motivated to do move things when I'm by myself...

Do I like being by myself??? No!!!! Where would I rather be?? With my new Girlfriend...but are we ready to move in together?? We have been together now for a year as of Sept 22. It has been the best year in my life!!!!! I know we are not ready for that yet... But the fact remains, I don't really LIKE being alone....

Ok, there....I SAID IT..... I DON'T LIKE TO BE ALONE

My First Blog

Well....After reading my sister's Blog for the past couple weeks, and a friend Dale's, I thought I would venture into the world of Blogging.

I never was a big writter in school, I really HATED English and anything related to it, but I guess things do change.....

I will be writing about THAT subject, Change, later......
